In the Swiss Carnival (in Germam, "Fasnacht") they also have parades, but each city has its own date for people to join in. In Luzern, which in my opinion has the biggest celebration in Switzerland, for example, the parades happened last Thursday, February 27. The interesting thing is, the music and celebrations starts at 5am! Can you imagine? You don't go partying until the sun rises. You sleep, wake up early, dress up for the negative temperatures and then you go have some Carnival! I work in Zug and the parades, last week, happened at my office's street, so I had the chance to take some pictures:
